Delete the AMD driver bar in the win11 right-click first-level menu - Bilibili
How to delete the right-click menu for help in Windows 11_Windows 11 Bar_Baidu Post Bar
After installing the latest AMD graphics card driver in Windows, AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition will appear in the right-click menu. Even using some right-click menu management tools has not been able to block and disable this function. As an obsessive-compulsive disorder, it looks very uncomfortable and I don't like the addition of unnecessary functions in the right-click menu. I searched on Baidu online and saw that some netizens shared some methods. I will summarize them here and share two methods that I personally find useful. Save money and avoid having to search again.
method one:
1. Use the shortcut key Win+R
to open the command line tool and enter regedit
to open the registry
2. Delete the value corresponding to the ApplicationId in the registry
For example, the path is: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PackagedCom\Package\AdvancedMicroDevicesInc-RSXCM_22.10.0.0_x64__fhmx3h6dzfmvj\Server\1
Note: The actual path of this step may be slightly different on different computers. The registry path HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PackagedCom\Package is a path shared by everyone. The next-level path is to find the actual path starting with "AdvancedMicroDevicesInc...." on your computer, and then enter To the Server, the lower-level path in the Server path may be 0 or 1. For example, here it is 0
3. To delete ApplicationId
the value, click OK.
4. No need to restart the computer after deletion, it will take effect immediately
PS: If there are other AMD right-click menus, you can use the "Manage Right-click Menu" tool of Tencent Computer Manager, uncheck " ACE " and confirm.
Similar tools for managing right-click menus include:
(1) There is a right-click butler in 360 Security Guard
(2) Tinder has right-click management
(3) HiBit Uninstaller, an installation-free cleaning tool, with a right-click menu management in the toolbar
Method Two:
1. Use the shortcut key Win+R
to open the command line tool and enter regedit
to open the registry
2. Find the value of SurrogateAppld
(1) You can search directly, which is simple and convenient, but the speed will be slower. Use Ctrl+F to bring up the search dialog box and enter SurrogateAppld to search directly.
(2) Enter the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\PackagedCom\Package\AdvancedMicroDevicesInc-2.AMDRadeonSoftware_10.22.20073.0_x64__0a9344xs7nr4m\Server\0
For example, here it is 0
3. Copy the value of SurrogateAppld
Double-click SurrogateAppld and copy the value
4. Registry input path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions
5. In the Shell Extensions folder, right-click to create a new item named Blocked
6.Blocked new string
Click to select the Blocked folder, right-click to create a new string value. The name is the value copied in step 3. Here it is "{6767B3BC-8FF7-11EC-B909-0242AC120002}" and the value is "AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition”
