The AutoCAD plug-in implements the line segment breaking function. Keep 40mm at both ends of the selected line segment, break and delete the middle part.
Used in the sheet metal industry and the production of laser marking lines.
Bending lines are usually retained in drawings exported by modeling software. Some companies will mark the bending lines of sheet metal parts during laser cutting for bending alignment.
During the drawing process, drawing marking lines is relatively cumbersome. Based on actual work needs, this CAD plug-in was written to realize the above functions and greatly improve work efficiency.
For this plug-in, I set the shortcut key to "44". When using it, enter 44, press Enter, and then select the line segment that needs to be interrupted.
How to use:
Download the plug-in: breakline_44
Install the plug-in:
- Put the plug-in into the AutoCAD installation path, create a new folder in the installation path, and name it arbitrarily. I named it "LSP-LL" here.
- Place the downloaded plugin into this folder
- Open the CAD software and enter the command: AP to bring up the loading application interface
- Click on the lower right corner: Content, click Add
- Find the path where the plug-in was stored just now, select the plug-in and confirm
- After adding, directly use the shortcut key: 44 to call the plug-in
