Features: The thing is very simple, has the lowest cost, has poor heat dissipation, is difficult to increase the power, and is not easy to pass safety regulations, but is easy to mass-produce.

Application: low-end markets such as bulbs, downlights, spotlights, etc.

 

Fourth generation: COB (highly integrated lamp beads + linear power supply)

Features: small size, good fan thermal performance, high designability, good light efficiency, and can also be mass-produced

Application: mid-to-low-end markets such as spotlights

 

Latest: IC LED

Features: Integrated chip and LED are in the same package. There is no need for a separate driving power supply, higher integration, lower overall cost, easy assembly, and retains the excellent light quality of COB.

Quality advantages: Typical luminous efficiency can reach more than 90lm/W; PF>0.9; Typical color rendering index can reach more than 85. Since the thermal conductivity of ceramic substrates is much better than that of aluminum substrates, and bare crystal packaging solves the problem of heat dissipation well, IC LEDs make lamps have less light decay, better performance, and longer life.

Certification advantages: Ceramic sheets have a voltage resistance of 6000V without breakdown during certification, no EMI electromagnetic interference, and pass the surge test under EMC 600V, so they can pass all certifications such as UL, CE, RCM, 3C, etc., and comply with global safety regulations. .

Application: Markets with very high light quality requirements.

Targeting the downlight market;

The requirements are relatively simple, mainly two-color + segmented dimming + slow start and slow off functions. Dimming should be as soft as possible.

Downlight power is 5W, 9W, 12W

Spotlight power is 5W, 10W, 15W

Temperature parameters marked on the shell: -40~50℃ or -20~55℃.

The temperature on DOB lamp panels is generally controlled at around 50°C.

Antenna processing method:

  1. The RF chip antenna and the power drive board are placed separately outside the downlight structure and are connected to the LED light board through wires.
  2. The RF chip antenna is made together with the power board and placed at the tail of the downlight, and the downlight is formed into a whole through structural parts.
  3. Through the DOB method, the chip antenna is integrated on the LED light panel. The light panel is made of non-metallic material and the downlight is made of plastic structure.
  4. Through the DOB method, the chip antenna is led out through flying wires, the light panel is made of aluminum alloy, and the downlight may be made of aluminum or plastic.

Power driver instructions:

In the market, there are generally divided into non-isolated power supplies and isolated power supplies.

But from a technical perspective, it can also be subdivided into: linear power supply, ACDC non-isolated power supply, and isolated power supply. Performance and reliability increase in sequence, while complexity and price decrease in sequence. See table below.
