The birth and growth of Longce Technology
Longce Technology is a software company focusing on functional testing. The idea of establishing the company came from the personal experience of the founder, Dr. Shi Jiangfan, working abroad. In 2012, Shi Jiangfan obtained a doctorate in software testing from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He then joined IBM, Microsoft, Expedia and other companies, serving as test engineers, senior test engineers and other positions. At that time, even for large companies such as IBM and Microsoft, software testing was still mainly manual, with a low degree of automation. Although QTP and loadrunner were already very popular at that time, there was still no particularly useful automated functional testing tool. So Dr. Shi Jiangfan came up with the idea of making an automated functional testing tool to change the current situation of manual testing. As the idea sprouted and his job changed, he returned to Beijing from the United States and founded Longce Technology.
Dr. Shi Jiangfan described his thoughts like this: "From school to work, for nearly 20 years, I have witnessed the rise of the software testing industry. However, after so many years, the scale of manual testing is still huge, and there is no big progress. So, I If we want to change this industry, I believe it is the general trend for machines to replace humans in software testing!”
It has been 5 years since Longce Technology was founded. From the initial product 1.0 to 2.0 and now to 3.0; from the smallest MVP product unit to building a one-stop universal automated testing platform - Longce AI-TestOps cloud platform; from standard testing to AI empowerment to the future large model Blessing. Longce Technology has also achieved a series of achievements along with product updates and iterations.
