Liu Yonghao mentioned ChatGPT in his speech and pointed out that many private enterprises, especially traditional manufacturing enterprises, are facing troubles and concerns. These concerns mainly focus on the rapid development of smart manufacturing and the role of artificial intelligence technologies such as ChatGPT in promoting a new round of technological revolution.
"Artificial intelligence will become a new round of technological revolution in the future, and some big companies will be born. New development will be achieved through the implementation of action plans, fast and efficient execution, and Shenzhen people who dare to act." Liu Yonghao said.
For enterprises to embrace artificial intelligence, especially traditional manufacturing enterprises, Liu Yonghao believes that there is no need to spend huge amounts of money to build computing power or conduct large-scale model training, because many specialized companies have already invested a lot of resources in this area.
These companies will develop a common, open base for enterprise use. Traditional enterprises only need to build production, processing, sales, operations and other links into an industrial chimney, and then plug this chimney into the base to use this open source technology for artificial intelligence applications.
In this way, traditional enterprises can make full use of the advantages of artificial intelligence, improve production efficiency and product quality, and realize the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
How does New Hope eliminate anxiety about the development of artificial intelligence? Liu Yonghao summarized it from three aspects.
First of all, New Hope organized a half-year digital transformation training, inviting well-known experts, scholars and business practitioners to give lectures, so that all employees could deeply understand the need to embrace big data and smart manufacturing and form a consensus.
Secondly, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the transformation, New Hope has established a special working group, led by the main person in charge. Adjustments and changes have been made in terms of personnel, management, finance, sales and production operations to better adapt to the intelligent applications brought by big data.
Finally, New Hope also invested in seven or eight robotics companies. He did this because he believed that robots had the potential to replace human jobs in manufacturing.
