Download Nexus 3
1. Enter the Nexus 3.x download page (the latest version currently is 3.59.0-01), and select the corresponding version to download according to the operation.
2. Unzip the downloaded installation package locally to obtain two directories: nexus-3.59.0-01 and sonatype-work.
in:
- nexus-3.59.0-01: This directory contains the files required to run Nexus and all other necessary components, such as startup scripts, dependent jar packages, etc.
- sonatype-work: This directory contains all repositories, components and other data stored and managed by Nexus.
Start nexus service
We can find an executable file named nexus.exe in the nexus-3.59.0-01\bin directory. It is a startup script for running Nexus on the Windows platform. The script includes starting services, stopping services, and creating services. and delete service commands.
Open the command line window, jump to the nexus-3.59.0-01\bin directory, and execute the following command to start the Nexus service.
nexus /run
If the execution result is as shown in the figure, it means that Nexus startup is complete.
Visit nexus 3.x
1. After the startup is completed, enter http://localhost:8081/ in the browser address bar to access the Nexus interface.
2. Click the "Sign in" button in the upper right corner of the Nexus 3.x homepage, enter the user name and password on the login page (the default user name is admin, and the default password is saved in the admin.password file in the /sonatype-work/nexus3 directory) ), click the "Sign in" button to log in.
3. After logging in, the settings dialog box will pop up, click Next
4.Set a new password
5. Set whether to access anonymously. You can start using it after the setting is completed.
