(2) Choose typical

(3) Install the Ubuntu image file just now

(4) Enter account password

(5) Select the virtual machine installation path

(6) Specify the disk size , you can choose the size according to your own needs, you can choose 40-60GB

(7) Custom hardware (optional)

(8) Configure the virtual machine memory. The default is fine. According to your needs, the bigger the better.

(9) Configure the network connection type, here I chooseNAT

Bridged (bridge mode): Our computers need to have a network address (IP address) when surfing the Internet. Through this address, we can determine the location of our computer on the network. Bridge mode is to connect the network card of our virtual machine to the network. The address is placed on the network card of our real physical machine. In this case, our virtual machine is like a machine in the LAN where our host is located. Bridge mode is suitable for situations where there is a router, just like a real physical environment.
NAT (Network Address Translation Mode): Create a virtual network card on the host machine, and assign IP to the virtual machine through this network card. The role of the host here is equivalent to the router in the LAN. NAT mode is suitable for situations where there is no router, and the virtual machine accesses the Internet through the host.
Host-Only (mode): It is very similar to NAT mode. The only difference is that there is no address translation service, so in this mode the virtual machine can only access the host. Unable to access external network.
