Currently feasible methods (currently the password can only be modified by entering PE)
Download the Rufus disk writing tool and Hiren's BootCD PE image through the "Reference webpage of this article" at the end of this article.
Start the disk writing tool, select the U disk and image
U disk, and make sure the computer is turned off when inserting it into the computer.
Start the computer and quickly hit the Delete key to enter the BIOS interface
(different computers use different keys to enter the BIOS. You can use a search engine to check how your computer enters the BIOS.)
Set the U disk as the first startup item, press F10 to save, and restart the computer
(different computers have different BIOS interfaces. When I first came into contact with the BIOS, I held my phone in one hand and used Baidu Translate to take photos and translate (my English is not very good, BIOS The interface is generally in English), compare the options one by one in Chinese and English, and slowly explore. But now you should be able to see it as soon as you enter the system, maybe in the upper right corner, drag the U disk boot system to the top of the local disk system. Can.)
Enter the PE interface, click All Programs
and click Security->Passwords
(all three software under Passwords can be used. When I use NT Passwords Edit to change the empty password, there will be a special situation where the configuration is unsuccessful and only the empty password can be configured. You need to use two other software to configure the empty password successfully, but at this time you still cannot use NT Passwords Edit to change it to a non-empty password.)
Make sure the path is:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SAM
Click Open and select the administrator account.
Click Change password
to reset the password (it can be empty).
Remember to unplug the USB flash drive before restarting the computer.
Windows11 and Windows10(21H2) and above (this method is currently invalid)
Turn on the computer first, do not perform any operations, and wait quietly for the login interface.
Hold down Shift to restart
. Enter the "Select an option" interface, click Troubleshooting
, click Advanced Options
, click Command Prompt,
and enter two lines of commands.
copy C:\windows\system32\uti1man.exe C: \Windows\system32\uti1man.exebak
copy C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe C: \Windows\system32\uti1man.exe
Click Continue
Restart
to enter the login interface again, click the auxiliary function in the lower right corner (this place will get stuck, and the cmd window will not pop up after clicking)
Enter two lines of code to reset the password
