1. Set password

In the Word interface, click the (File) option on the top menu bar

Click (Protect Document)

Click (encrypt with password)

Enter the password we want to set in the password box and click (OK)

Re-enter the password in the password box to confirm, keep it consistent with the password set in the previous step, and then click (OK) to complete the password setting.

As you can see, when we open this document again, we need to enter a password for verification.

2. Cancel password
Just delete the password where you set the password above.
