How to remove password protection of Office Excel?

Attempting to change the content of the Excel file, but the following prompt pops up:

As prompted, I tried to unprotect the table, but it asked for a password:

This is embarrassing =_= The password is not set by me

I asked Du Niang and found a solution

Change the Excel file extension to rar,

Open this rar file with a compression software (I use 7-Zip) to see if there is sheet1.xml,

Well, it seems that there is no T_T, look for it carefully, you will find it

Right-click sheet1.xml and click Edit in the pop-up menu

The system will use Notepad to open the xml by default, look for the keyword sheetProtection, and delete the sheetProtection element (the selected area in the figure below)

Remember to save after deletion, close the notepad sheet1.xml and the compression program (if the compression program prompts that the file has been changed, ask whether to save the changes or update it in the archive file, select yes)

Change the extension of rar and restore it to the extension of the original file, double-click to punch the Excel file, and find that the password protection has disappeared, you can edit it ^_^
