1. Solve the problem of slow startup of EditPlus when opening files
Find the installation path of EditPlus, find the editplus_u.ini file inside, open it with Notepad, modify the Workspace Path inside to your actual path, then save, and you can start it in seconds.
2. Every time you open a file and close it, a backup file with the suffix .bak will be automatically generated. If you don’t want it, you can just close it as shown in the picture.
Tools>Preferences->Select the file in the category->Uncheck "Create a backup when saving files" on the right - OK
3. Set the default encoding format of EditPlus:
Open EditPlus Tools->Configure Custom Tools->File->Default Text Encoding->Change the settings to UTF-8
