Double-click the downloaded software to decompress it, find the sqljdbc42.jar file under the jre8 folder, and copy sqljdbc42.jar to the kettle installation directory kettle\pdi-ce-9.0.0.0-423\data-integration\libswt folder, as shown in the figure:
