Chrome turns off automatic updates

1 Disable Google Updates in the service.

2 Chrome updates are upgraded using the upgrade program in update, so the files inside can be deleted. But if you delete Chrome directly, it will be generated automatically. So you can consider cutting off this step. As long as Chrome cannot generate an update program in the Update folder, Chrome will not be able to update.

So first clear the Update folder and set permissions so that Chrome does not have permission to modify this folder.

Delete all contents in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update directory.

Then right-click the Update folder, click the "Properties" option, then click the "Security" tab, and set System Full Control to Deny. System has the highest permissions. After setting it up, Chrome will not have permission to modify this folder.
