Start your programming journey with an offer

On June 10, 2023 , my programming journey officially started.

I am a freshman in my freshman year. Although June 10, 2023 is not the time when I start learning programming, it will be the time when I start a bright future.

Let’s first talk about the ups and downs along the way. As a 22nd Shandong candidate, the mathematics in the college entrance examination gave me a lot of room for development. Mathematics 110 in the new college entrance examination I made our family very excited. I thought I would follow the path planned by my parents, go to Shandong Police College, and then work in the police industry. But on the day when the results came out, 581 was neither high nor low, so I decided to apply for the China Criminal Police Academy in advance. God was not kind to me, and I unfortunately failed because of 1 point. So I came to the security engineering of Taiyuan University of Technology. I thought it was about network security, but I didn’t expect that it was the security industry of the old engineering major. After being poured cold water on me, I realized that I had to change my major, and successfully transferred to computer science during my freshman year. and technology.

Temporary plan: It is now June 12, 2023. It is estimated that it will take 12-15 months to learn the entire C++. It happens to be the next summer vacation, and I am planning to go to the first-tier cities to find an internship. At this time, there are two paths. What can be found and what cannot be found. Of course, the former would be the most ideal result I hope for. If I can find an internship, it means that my resume will have a solid foundation. But I'm not sure, because if 211 in this economically underdeveloped area goes to a first-tier city with an economically developed economy, will it be able to compete with the local top schools? If it is the latter, I will start preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination in my junior year, because the detailed study of C++ is no longer enough to support me to have enough time to apply for postgraduate entrance examination. More than ten classmates have GPA of 4.8+ and the number of postgraduate entrance examinations may only be More than ten. But no matter what the outcome is, I still have a lot of time to plan my future path if I choose from now on, and I have met many outstanding classmates along the way, so I am still very confident!

Regarding learning planning: I started to focus on learning a language seriously from scratch. I chose C++. I don’t know if I am too idealistic. I always think that I still have a lot of time and energy. Since I want to learn, of course I have to learn the deepest level. of. As for the school's courses, one language is required for one semester. Of course I think this is unreasonable. Excellent people around me are all scrambling for grades to secure a postgraduate degree, but I don't want to be the person who fails to secure admission in the end, so I ask for university courses. 80 is enough, and the rest of the time is left to C++. I know that C++ is more than one programming language. The difficulty is actually the other theoretical knowledge it extends, but I am confident that I can learn it well.

Ideal company: I have not yet begun to understand this part. I don’t know the corporate culture of each company. I hope to be down-to-earth. When I succeed in learning one day, I believe I will find the company that suits me.
