At the end of January 2022, the official website of Imagination went online after several iterative revisions, presenting Imagination in 360 degrees with a brand-new look. The revised new website mainly includes five modules, namely product technology and solutions, developer community, news and insights, company introduction, and job vacancies. At the same time, the new website is compatible with various terminal displays, including PCs, mobile phones and tablets, so that everyone can quickly find what you want to know.
Comprehensive understanding of Imagination's six major product technologies
On the homepage of the official website, we show the six major product technologies currently involved in Imagination, including GPU, CPU, AI, Ethernet (Ethernet), Ray Tracing (Ray Tracing), and Developer Tools (Developer Tools).
Imagination has more than 30 years of experience and technology accumulation in the GPU field. Its PowerVR graphics processor provides industry-leading efficient and flexible solutions for 3D, 2D graphics and high-performance GPU computing. From 2019 to 2022, Imagination has successively launched powerful GPU IP series - IMG A-Series, IMG B-Series and IMG C-Series to meet different product needs.
Last December, Imagination announced the launch of the Catapult series of RISC-V central processing unit (CPU) product lines, which are designed for heterogeneous computing solutions. The Catapult family has four different CPU products, namely: dynamic microcontrollers, real-time embedded CPUs, high-performance application processor CPUs, and CPUs supporting automotive functional safety.
AI has become ubiquitous. The PowerVR NNA neural network accelerator developed by Imagination has low power consumption, low cost, and high performance, and can be applied to various vertical fields such as mobile devices, AIoT, and automobiles.
Ethernet Data Processor IP provides leading and energy-efficient solutions for all time-sensitive IP connections, area controllers, aggregators and automotive gateways. Imagination ray tracing enables desktop-level visuals on mobile devices, creating a high-quality gaming experience for mobile gamers.
In addition, developer tools are an important part of Imagination's product technology ecosystem, covering a wealth of SDKs and tools to support the latest graphics APIs and AI frameworks, helping developers better deploy applications.
Four Application Markets: Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Data Center/Desktop, Mobile Devices
Based on existing product technologies, Imagination mainly targets four major application markets, namely automotive, consumer electronics, data center/desktop, and mobile devices. Imagination currently has a 37% market share in smartphone graphics processing units (GPUs) (source: TSR), and is the largest GPU supplier to the automotive industry with around 51% market share.
On the website, we show solutions for different application markets, such as ADAS, HMI and connectivity in automobiles, GPU+CPU+NNA+EEP technology builds a complete set of solutions.

The developer community is a communication platform for developers. Here, developers can obtain Imagination's officially released SKD and toolkit for free, and keep abreast of the release and update of development tools.
