I. Introduction

  Today, the students discussed the car model out-of-bounds plan under the 19th competition proposal video. The main reason is that using ordinary cones will cause a lot of trouble for competition referees. It is better to use traditional road shoulders. Although laying them is troublesome, at least the referee will not have to rearrange the crooked cones. In order to avoid the above problems, electronic cones will be used to replace the traditional physical cones in next year's competition. It can detect car model collisions, display the collision results, and more importantly, can automatically reset under wireless control. So how to realize the function of electronic cone barrel?

2. System design

  Let’s discuss the design ideas of electronic cone barrel. Regarding the collision detection function, it does not actually allow the car model to hit the cone barrel, which will also cause damage to the car model. In fact, it detects whether the car model has passed through a certain area. This solution can adopt the structure and principle of the beacon light. However, this beacon light is very small and does not need to provide external wireless charging power, but it can carry its own charging power and work alone.

  Regarding the collision indication function, it can be displayed through the buzzer and LED on the electronic cone. This aspect is available in existing beacon lights. Finally, let’s discuss the function of the electronic cone’s controllable reset. Once the electronic cone is triggered, it needs to always display the trigger status. ·It cannot be reset until it receives an external unified command. Reset can be performed wirelessly, infrared or ultrasonic. In this way, it is necessary to build a corresponding signal receiving amplification and demodulation circuit on the electronic cone receiving board to realize the cone state reset. Since each electronic cone is independent, it needs to bring its own rechargeable polymer lithium battery and corresponding charging interface. In order to further reduce the complexity and cost of the circuit, electromagnetic navigation signals on the track can be used to reset the electronic cone. That is to say, by manually turning off the electromagnetic navigation signal, the electronic cone placed next to the track will be reset once it cannot receive the navigation signal. ·This can greatly reduce the electronic cone circuit complexity and production cost.

The electronic cone should be a reduced beacon light, with a diameter of less than 5 centimeters; it should have its own charging interface.
