The "China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook" provides detailed statistics on the construction and development of urban municipal public facilities in our country. This time we share city-level rail transit-related indicators compiled from the "China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook" from 2006 to 2021! The compiled data years are from 2009 to 2021. Rail transit indicators are divided into two categories: completed and under construction, involving two statistical calibers of prefecture-level cities and county-level cities. Two formats, Shp and Excel, are provided. There are more than 20 indicators in total. Specifically , include:

01Data  preview

The rail transit-related indicator data shared this time is available in two data formats: Excel and Shp. Let’s take the built line length indicator as an example to preview the data!

1. Length of completed lines in Excel format (prefecture-level cities/county-level cities)

Let’s first take a look at the data in Excel format. The length of completed lines in prefecture-level cities and county-level cities from 2009 to 2021 is summarized into an Excel file. Let’s preview it:

2. Length of built lines in Shp format (prefecture-level cities/county-level cities)

Let’s take a look at the data in Shp format. Since prefecture-level cities and county-level cities do not belong to the same level of administrative districts, Shp overlaps. Therefore, the length of built lines in prefecture-level cities and county-level cities from 2009 to 2021 is divided into two Shp file, let’s take the length of completed lines in prefecture-level cities in 2021 as an example to preview:

02  Data description

①The Urban Construction Yearbook counts the data of that year, so the 2006-2021 "China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook" counts the data of 2006-2021;

②The statistical indicators in the "China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook" have changed over the past 16 years and are not consistent every year. The relevant indicators of rail transit are only counted between 2009 and 2021;

③In the "China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook", Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province are not included in the statistics. The statistical caliber at the prefecture-level city and county-level city levels only counts urban data, and non-city administrative units are not included in the statistics. For example, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, in addition, the yearbook sets the following conditions for cities within the statistical scope, so some cities in prefecture-level and county-level cities are not included in the statistical scope.

④ Data formats are available in Shp and Excel. Shp data for each indicator of prefecture-level cities and county-level cities are summarized in two files, and Excel is summarized in one file.

⑤Shp data coordinates are WGS1984 coordinates.

⑥The Shp file uses the 2021 prefecture-level city and district and county-level administrative divisions provided by the "Dushu City Affairs" public account.
