Scientists from the United States continue to dominate the list, with a total of 614 scholars in 2023, accounting for 61.4% of the entire ranking. The first-ranked scientist is Indian-American Anil K. Jain of Michigan State University, and the second-ranked is one of the deep learning giants, Turing Award winner Yoshua Bengio. Among them, Chinese scientists accounted for 3 seats, namely Jiawei Han, Philip S. Yu, and Thomas S. Huang. In the 2023 rankings, Stanford University is again the leader, with 40 scientists from the university, the same number of researchers as in 2023. Google, the highest-ranked private company, jumps from 17 researchers in 2023 to 24 in 2023.
