Installation process
Start Oracle VM VirtualBox, click [New] to create a new virtual computer
Customized name, English recommended, customized folder, type Linux, version Red Hat (64-bit)
Memory size is allocated according to actual situation
Virtual hard disk selection [Create virtual hard disk now]
Select the virtual hard disk file type [VDI (VirtualBox Disk Image)]
Stored on the physical hard disk, you can choose any one, choose a fixed size to facilitate the migration of the virtual machine, after choosing [Next]
The location and size of the file are allocated according to the actual situation. After allocating, click [Create]
After the creation is complete, there will be one more option in the virtual machine list, right click to set
System settings, [pointing device] select according to the actual situation
[Storage] setting, there is no disc by default, click [No Disk], click the disc icon on the far right of [Assign CD Drive]
Select [Select Virtual Disk]
Select the downloaded iso file, and click ok after the selection is complete to complete the setting
Select the virtual machine just set up in the list, and click [Start]
After starting, the interface appears, just [Enter] to start the installation.
Start the system installation and setup, select English -> English(United States), click Continue to continue
Click SYSTEM -> INSTALLATION DESTINATION
After entering, click Done in the upper left corner to complete.
Click SYSTEM -> NETWORK & HOST NAME
Change Ethernet (enp0s3) to on
Click Configure in the lower right corner
Click General, check Automatically connect to this network when it is available, click Save in the lower right corner to return to the previous level
Click Done in the upper left corner to complete
Click SOFTWARE -> SOFTWARE SELECTION
After entering, select GNOME Desktop under Base Environment, select Development Tools under Add-Ons for Selected Environment on the right, and after selecting, click Done in the upper left corner to complete.
After waiting for a while, click the blue button Begin Installation in the lower right corner to start the installation
Click USER SETTINGS -> ROOT PASSWORD
Set the root password. After setting, click Done in the upper left corner to complete.
Click USER SETTINGS -> USER CREATION to create a new user
Fill in the Full name (in English), check Make this user administrator, set a password, and click Done in the upper left corner to complete
After the installation is complete, click Reboot in the lower right corner to restart
After restarting, click LICENSING -> LICENSE INFORMATION
Check I accept the license agreement in the lower left corner and click Done in the upper left corner to complete.
Click FINISH CONFIGURATION in the lower right corner to complete the settings
After logging in to the system, a pop-up window will appear. Just click the button in the upper right corner. Finally, click Start Using CentOS Linux to complete the installation.
Install enhanced features
Click [Device->Install enhanced features] above the virtual machine window
After clicking, a pop-up will appear on the CentOS system. Click Run and enter the password to authorize the installation.
If the installation is successful, Press Return to close this window... will be displayed at the end of the command line. After pressing Enter, the command line window will be closed automatically.
Right-click the desktop disc and click Eject to pop up the virtual disc.
Click on the top [View -> Select Automatically Adjust Window Size], so that you can adapt the size of the CentOS desktop according to the window size
Configure shared folders
Click on the top [Device->Shared Folder->Shared Folder]
Click on the folder with the plus sign on the right
Pull down the shared folder path and select [Other]
Select a folder in your PC as a shared folder, check [Auto Mount] and [Auto Assign], and the path of the mount point is the corresponding path of CentOS
Click OK to complete the configuration
