How to add horizontal lines above text in Word documents

1. Open a Word document, select the text that needs to be added with a horizontal line above it, then find and click "Pinyin Guide" in the "Start" menu bar.

2. By default, each text is separated separately. Click "Combine" to merge the selected text.

3. Then fill in the underline "_" in the "Pinyin text" column. The underlines will be evenly distributed above the text. When there are few underlines entered, a dotted line will appear above the text. When there are enough underlines entered, there will be a dotted line above the text. Shows a solid line state, as shown in the figure:

4. Click "OK" and you will find that a horizontal line has been added above the selected text in the Word document.
