Tips: The following operations are based on Apple computers, and may not be applicable to Windowns systems.
1. Run the installed Beyond Compare first , otherwise the following operations will not work.
2. After that, let’s display the hidden folder, and enter the following command in the terminal to display it.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes && killall Finder
3. Go to the resource library. If there is no resource library, you can go to the personal or computer.
4. Find Resource Library > Application Support > Beyond Compare (refer to the figure below for the path), and we can see that there is a registry.dat file inside. Just delete it.
5. If there is content that is about to expire later, just perform the above operation again.
6. Finally, we change the displayed hidden file back to the previous hidden state, and enter the following command in the terminal.
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles No && killall Finder
