Several times the situation as shown in the picture appeared, and I thought it was a problem with iTerm, but after closing the software and restarting it, it still didn’t work.
Later, after being informed by netizens, I realized that it was a problem with the virtual desktop.
To clean up this problem, there are two ways
Method one:
Enter the following command in the terminal to delete the virtual desktop file and restart the computer
sudo rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.spaces.plist
sudo restart
law two
Reset the initial state of the Dock
Sometimes, the above method does not work, and you will still see the virtual desktops that cannot be closed stubbornly appear in the upper list of the mission control.
At this point you need to add a command, and then restart:
sudo rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.spaces.plist
sudo rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist
sudo restart
Note that after restarting, your Dock will be reset to its original state, auto-hide or Dock size, etc. will be restored, and your moved, added or deleted apps will be restored to their original state. That's the price you pay for forcefully resetting your virtual desktops.
