Then in November, ChatGPT went online. In less than a month, OpenAI's AI chatbot attracted more than 100 million users, pushing AI competition to a new level.

"We turned around overnight from a difficult year last year," said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
Nvidia's sales of $11 billion in the three months ended July were more than 50% higher than Wall Street's previous forecast.
