Generally speaking, the interactive communication process will have a general step. Of course, what I have given is not the only step. It is a communication and interactive process that everyone recognizes. In fact, everyone has been in contact with it. If the interaction is unstable, it will bring many problems. It will also bring a lot of trouble to the scene.

Then let's see what signals are there: (the general principle of our normal reset signal, our own signal resets by itself)

Online signal (ready signal or heartbeat signal): The machine vision system is running. Of course, PLC or other interactive software should also be in the online signal.

Trigger signal: refers to the PLC or other interactive software triggering the machine vision system.

Result signal: refers to the machine vision system NG or OK, and the data is sent to PLC or other interactive software.

Completion signal: Refers to the machine vision system telling the PLC or other interactive software that the processing is over after the result of the machine vision system is completed, and the next cycle can be performed.

Switch material signal: refers to the switch of material number or different products. Machine vision system interactive communication process Note: The machine vision system will give a signal when it is running normally, but the heartbeat signal is more reasonable, because the machine vision system cannot turn off the signal when it crashes. Normal interaction process: online signal→trigger signal→result signal→complete signal for specific process, please refer to Cognex Smart Camera Insight Cognex Smart Camera Insight and PLC interaction detailed process (taking Profinet communication as an example, this process is suitable for all communication protocols)
