IP Address Monitoring Tool
OpUtils provides the following utilities to perform address monitoring operations, IP address monitoring tools included in this category include:

Malicious Device Detection
When IP monitoring software is able to periodically or manually scan subnets and IP address spaces to monitor IP addresses and detect new MAC addresses in the network. Any suspicious devices are added to this result as malicious. Initially, all discovered MAC addresses will be displayed here. An administrator must verify the list and remove valid devices. This is a one-time configuration after scanning the entire network. Later, if any new MAC addresses are found during the scan, they will be listed here.
Network IP address monitoring tools periodically scan routers and subnets to detect any new systems/devices found in the network. Initially, it lists all systems/devices discovered in the network. The administrator must verify and tag all valid systems/devices in the network.
MAC address parser
The MAC address resolver can use the provided IP address to learn the MAC address of any SNMP-enabled node. You can drill down to device specific details for IPs discovered by IP Address Monitor. This MAC address monitoring tool can also discover the physical address of the device and map it with the corresponding IP address. In addition to displaying the MAC address, the tool also displays SNMP availability, IP address, DNS name, port number, community, system type, and system description.
DHCP scope monitoring
DHCP Scope Monitor is an IP address monitoring tool that extracts all scopes defined in a DHCP server and displays the total (used and available) IP addresses in each scope. When the number of available IP addresses falls below the defined value, the display will turn red to indicate criticality.
MAC IP list
IP Address Monitoring by OpUtils allows broadcasting periodic queries to routers and subnets defined in router settings and collects information such as the device's MAC address, IP address, type and DNS name and stores it in a database. The data is also updated whenever a scan is performed on a given IP range. The data is presented in tabular form, showing details of the information collected and when the data was updated.
DNS resolver
Network engineers can use DNS resolvers to quickly obtain the hostname of any node whose IP address is known, and vice versa. This IP address monitoring software also displays detailed information such as default netmask, network type, and the status of forward and reverse lookups.
DNS scanning
Using the DNS scanning tool, OpUtils' IP Address Monitor can be used to scan a range of IP addresses to see if forward and reverse lookup operations are available for the device.
