EFI download

This is some EFI resources collected by my remote installation (six-year-old store, hard work remote, original collection), a collection of EFI driver files equipped with a variety of computers, except for computers with third-generation processors or lower configurations, all have been updated to support macOS Big Sur 11.0 , computers with basic mainstream configurations are collected and can be directly replaced. The EFI collection is updated weekly and new files are added, and the driver is updated every 15.0/15.2/15.4/15.6. Note: EFI can only be collected after installation on a real machine, and cannot be configured out of thin air. There are old versions of resources (Taobao, Xianyu, GitHub) flowing out of the Internet. The files are incomplete and have been in disrepair for a long time. They are not guaranteed to be suitable for the new system. The old system is barely usable for the old computer. For the new computer and the new system, please be sure to get the latest collection .

4. Make a Mac system disk

Making a Mac system disk is divided into partition installation and whole disk installation. In fact, they are similar, but many people ask, so I will talk about them here. Partition installation means that one of the several partitions of a disk is used to install the Mac system, which is the same as the C drive and D drive of the Windows system, and the data does not affect each other. The whole disk installation means that I use the whole disk to install the Mac system. I personally suggest that if possible, choose the whole disk installation.

1. Partition installation

a. Right-click Computer > Manage > Disk Management

b. First check whether the disk meets the requirements. The disk format must be GPT format (GUID), that is, right-click the disk, and "convert to MRB disk" is gray, which means the GPT format.

c. In addition, the disk cannot have a partition smaller than 200M and must have an EFI partition (the EFI partition must also be larger than 200M). After meeting these two basic conditions, right-click to compress the volume (use the partition tool to view).

d. Enter the compressed size, according to your own situation and requirements, the minimum is 25G.

e. Next, select the compressed partition and right-click to create a new simple volume.

f. Then go to the next step by default all the way, but note that there is an option to choose " Do not format this volume ";

g. All the way to default to the next step;

Note : In this step, you must select "Do not format this volume";

h. Continue to default to the next step until complete;

I. The end result is this:

2. Install the whole hard disk

a. The entire disk is only equipped with the mac system, then delete all partitions on the disk and turn it into a brand new disk. As shown below:

b. Unallocated will be displayed in the system disk management:

At this point, the installation disk is done, and the black apple has completed 85%.

5. Install the Mac system

1. Set the BIOS, restart and press F2 to enter the BIOS with a U disk (different computers have different keys, depending on your computer model);

2. First set the hard disk mode to AHCI, otherwise there will be a situation where the disk tool cannot read the built-in hard disk (that is, the Apple installation disk made by yourself cannot be found);

3. Then turn off Secure Boot or choose another operating system (this is set by Microsoft to prevent computers with Windows operating system from being modified to linux, and you cannot boot to Clover if you don’t turn it off);

4. Turn on UEFI boot mode;

5. For the first boot item, select the U disk that you have burned yourself, EUFI+U disk name;

6. Save and restart, and enter the four-leaf clover boot interface;

7. After entering clover to the Clover interface, select Boot MacOS install from install macOS Big Sur, and press Enter;

8. After a while, you will enter the following interface;

9. Enter the installation interface after running the code or the progress bar, first select the disk tool;

10. Select the Mac system disk you made yourself. Generally, the color of the name is lighter, and the one in gray (see clearly and don’t choose the wrong one);

11. Then erase the disk, enter the name casually, choose the APFS format for the solid-state hard disk, and choose the extended journal for the mechanical hard disk;

Format recommendation when touching the disk (you can choose by yourself)

Reminder: If it fails to touch the disk, it prompts that there is insufficient space, it means that your disk format has not been processed properly, re-enter win to modify the format;

12. After erasing the disk, close the "Disk Utility" and select "Install MAC OS";

14. Then find the disk you just touched, select it and install it!

All the way to agree to the default next step;

The first installation interface:

14. After the first installation, it will restart, restart or select the U disk to start, enter Clover and select Boot MacOS from X, (X the name of the installation disk you just erased) will enter the official installation area after a while.

Secondary installation interface:

16. After the second installation, the black apple will be installed on your hard disk. After restarting, choose the U disk to start, enter Clover and select X (the name of the disk you erased), and enter the Apple system;

17. After setting the account password, etc., you can enter the desktop;

18. Mac system desktop and launch platform display;

Six, change the hard disk to start

1. Open the partition tool, copy the clover folder in the EFI folder just now to the ESP partition of the hard disk (some display "EFI", the operation is the same as before, use the shortcut key to copy);

2. Install the EasyUEFI boot tool (win requires GPT boot mode, otherwise an error will be reported or there will be no boot item);

3. After installation, open the main interface to manage EFI boot items;

4. After entering the management interface, click " + " to create a new boot item;

5. Select the type of Linux or other operating systems;

6. Description, that is, the name of the new boot item, you can enter it casually, the "CLOVER" I entered here (note the English input method input);

7. Select the target partition, select the ESP partition of your own hard disk, that is, the partition where you just copied the EFI file, and then click Browse to proceed to the next step;

8. Find the CLOVERX64.efi startup file under the EFI/CLOVER/ folder;

9. Confirm after selection to complete the new boot item;

10. Then adjust the newly created boot item to be the first boot item;

11. Finally, the hard disk boot modification is completed, and you can unplug the U disk to start the mac system in the future;

So far, the black apple installation tutorial is finished, I wish you to eat black apple as soon as possible!
