Netflix mandatory 1080P playback configuration tutorial

First, you need to download two software:

Super Netflix (requires a proxy to open the chrome store)
Netflix 1080p

"Super Netflix" can be installed directly through the Chrome store, and the installation method of "Netflix 1080p" is as follows:

Change the suffix of the downloaded crx file to rar, unzip

Chrome menu > More tools > Extensions, turn on developer mode in the upper right corner

Click on the upper left corner to load the decompressed extension program, select the previously decompressed 1080 plug-in folder to install

Next, open the Chrome browser " More Tools " > " Clear Browsing Data " to clear the current browsing history and cached pictures and files, so as to prevent the inability to switch when setting the image quality in the future. Therefore, it is recommended to clear the browsing history first. clear.

Open Netflix at this time, play a video, you can use Alt + Ctrl + Shift + D, Mac users use CTRL + SHITF + OPTION + D to open and see the resolution 1260*720 (I have already set up the plug-in, so this is just using to demonstrate)

Click on the " Super Netflix  " add-on icon in the upper right corner of chrome

Set the bitrate to 3100, remember to slide down to save (click save)

Then refresh the current video, wait a few seconds to tens of seconds for the buffering time, and you can see that the resolution is forced to 1920×1080

If the video still does not support 1080P after installing the plug-in, it may be caused by the following reasons

1. Some sources of Netflix do not support 1080P
2. The proxy speed used is too slow to enable 1080P resolution
