Build WebDAV service mobile phone ES file browser remote access

Sometimes we want to access the files in the Synology NAS through mobile devices to meet special needs. We enable the WebDav service in Synology, combine the public network address generated by the cpolar intranet tool, and use the ES file browser on the mobile client. To achieve remote access to NAS files on mobile devices, the steps are described below

1. Install and enable WebDAV

In the Synology package center, we search webdav, find and click to install the package (if it is already installed, you can ignore this step)

Then open webdav, enable http access, here we remember the port number is5005

2. Install cpolar

cpolar Synology suite download address: https://www.cpolar.com/synology-cpolar-suite, download the corresponding version of the suite

Select the cpolar installation package we downloaded locally.

Finally click Finish.

After the installation is complete, in the external browser, we access the cpolar web management interface through 群辉的局域网ip地址the added port, and then enter the cpolar email account and password to log in9200

3. Configure the public network access address

After successful login, click Tunnel Management on the left dashboard - Create Tunnel:

• Tunnel name: can be customized, be careful not to duplicate the existing tunnel name
• protocol: tcp
• Local address: 5005 (the port number we saw above)
• Port Type: Temporary Random TCP Port
• Region: Select China VIP

Then open the online tunnel list and view the public network connection address of the tcp protocol.

4. Public network test connection

Next, we use the public network address to connect, open the ES file browser, and click the upper left corner to open the navigation menu

Click FTP under Network

Click New in the upper right corner

Then enter the public network address we created above, and fill in the port number corresponding to the public network address for the port, then enter the login user name and password of the NAS, and click OK

There is no error prompt, and this interface appears to indicate that the addition is successful.

Click the webdav service we added to open and see the folder of our NAS, and the connection is successful

5. Fixed connection public network address

It should be noted that the above steps use a random temporary tcp port address, and the generated public network address is a random temporary address, which will change randomly within 24 hours. Next, we configure a fixed TCP port address for it, which will not change, and there is no need to modify the address repeatedly every day after setting.

Log in to the cpolar official website, click on the reservation on the left, find the reserved tcp address, let's reserve a fixed tcp address for Minecraft:

• Region: Select China
• Description: It is a note, which can be customized

After the address is successfully reserved, the system will generate a corresponding fixed public network address and copy it down

Enter the cpolar web ui management interface, click on the tunnel management on the left dashboard - tunnel list, find the tcp tunnel we created above, and click on the right编辑

Modify the tunnel information and configure the successfully reserved fixed tcp address into the tunnel

• Port type: modified to fixed tcp port
• Reserved tcp address: fill in the address successfully reserved on the official website,

After the tunnel is successfully updated, click the status on the left dashboard - the list of online tunnels, and you can see that the public network address has been updated to a fixed tcp address.

6. Test connection with fixed address

We fixed the connection address above, now we use the fixed public network address to connect to the test, open the ES file browser, find the webdav connection above us, press and hold it, and the edit server appears, click

Change the server address and port to our fixed address and port, then click OK
