When we usually use Linux and Windows systems to transfer files to each other, it is often not very convenient to use rar or zip compressed files. tar.gz is a commonly used format under Linux and Unix, so how to compress files into tar.gz under Windows format?
1. First enter the 7-zip official website: 7-zip
2. Select the installation package to be downloaded and click Download.
3. Right-click on the file you want to package after installation.
4. At this time, we choose tar under the compression format, as shown in the figure below. At this time, we will get a tar file. It is easy to find that the size of the tar file has not changed significantly. This is because tar actually simply packs the files. 
5. Next, we will "add the tar file we just got to the compressed package", as shown in the figure below, select the "gzip" format under the compression format, and you can get the tar.gz compressed file.
