FAKRA | In the automotive field, the most widely used LVDS signal modulation schemes are FPD-LINK technology from Texas Instruments (TI) and GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Links) technology from Maxim. Their technical principles are the same. The transmitter uses a chip called a serializer (Serdes) to modulate the mipi parallel signal into a serial differential signal and send it out through the coaxial line. At the receiving end, there is a chip called a deserializer (De-Serdes), which restores the differential signal to a parallel signal (mipi). This coaxial cable requires a special interface called Fakra, which is easy to distinguish in appearance | ||
