Electric vehicles, robotics, precision measuring instruments – in the three application areas mentioned above, components with high precision, robustness and long-term stability are essential. For these and similar applications, RGV series precision resistors are ideal.
RGV series resistors
The RGV series metal film chip resistors have resistance values ranging from 120kΩ to 3MΩ (1206-inch size, 0.25W) or 120kΩ to 4.3MΩ (1210-inch size, 0.33W), and the thin film structure enables low noise and anti-sulfurization.
They are suitable for high voltage applications up to 700 volts in the 1206 inch size or 1000 volts in the 1210 inch size. They use a special PCVD process to create an inorganic protective film to ensure excellent long-term stability with an accuracy of ±0.1%.
Its extremely low temperature coefficient of ±25 ppm/°C indicates that the resistance value remains stable even at higher temperatures. RGV resistors have an operating temperature range of -55 to 155°C, allowing them to be used even under harsh environmental conditions.
With automotive applications in mind, the RGV series resistors are of course qualified to the AEC-Q200 standard.
In summary, RGV thin film chip resistors are ideal for powertrain and battery management systems in electric vehicles, industrial and robotic applications, measuring instruments, and high-voltage equipment.
