In the process of electromagnetic simulation, sometimes it is necessary to scan parameters and find the optimum value. At this time, you can use Parameter List, further use functions such as Parameter Sweep and Optimization, and compare multiple parameters and multiple scenarios to obtain the optimal or worst solution of a system.
Parameter List
In many cases, the purpose of our electromagnetic simulation is to find a Best or Worst Case, through the comparison of multiple parameters and multiple scenarios, so as to obtain the optimal or worst solution of a system, further optimize the scheme or set the SPEC limit value . Here's a simple example: Create a new Brick with a height of 10, a length of a=15, and a width of b=20. When setting it up for the first time, an initial Value is required.
After completing the setting, when you need to change the parameter value, you can change it again in Parameter List > Expressiong, and press F7 after modification to refresh the model; when there are too many
parameters, you can also use the search function
if there is a relationship between variables , For example: a=b+10, then we can enter the corresponding expression in Expresssion to modify.
