-Aviation analytics company Cirium has renewed a long-term agreement with Aireon, a leader in aircraft tracking, to provide real-time and historical aircraft position analysis, enabling higher-level situational awareness and post-flight analysis.
As Aireon's selected partner, Cirium combines its industry-leading flight schedule, fleet, flight status, weather and emissions data with Aireon's satellite-based global flight location data to create a comprehensive aircraft data streams and bring those analytics to market.
Aireon provides satellite-based positioning data technology that ensures data coverage for all modern ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) equipped aircraft worldwide, including low-altitude, transoceanic or mountainous areas that cannot be tracked by ground receivers Fly the plane.
