Create a VPN connection first
friendly reminder:
After creating a VPN, direct connection to the VPN will generally prompt the following error, so in order to set up successfully in one step, do not connect after creating the VPN, first follow the following solutions to complete the settings, and then connect to the VPN.
Problem with connection failure:
The computer cannot connect to the company, and the connection error is reported: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer encountered a processing error while initializing the negotiation with the remote computer.
Solution to VPN connection failure:
1. First set up the connection
2. Add the registry key AllowL2TPWeakCrypto (if there is, just modify the value directly)
1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and click OK
2. In Registry Editor, locate and click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rasman\Parameters
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. Type AllowL2TPWeakCrypto and press enter.
5. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6. In the Value data box, type 1, and click OK.
7. On the File menu, click Exit to exit Registry Editor.
3. Add another registry key ProhibitIpSec
1. Locate the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Rasman\Parameters
2. On the Edit menu, click New -> DWORD Value
3. In the Name box, type "ProhibitIpSec"
4. In the Value data box, type "1" and click OK
4. Check whether the IPsec Policy Agent is started, if not, start it
5. Check the Routing and Remote Access service again. If it is not started, start it
6. If it still doesn’t work, uninstall the wireless network card in the network adapter and try again
At this point, it should be resolved.
Seven, restart the computer
Connect to VPN, enter VPN account and password (provided by the company system administrator)
