Interviewer Getting Started Guide

Some time ago, I experienced being an interviewer to interview other people. Generally speaking, the first time is quite satisfactory, let me share some small experiences.

1. There are precedents, you can ask someone with experience

For the first interview, first of all, it must be relatively nervous, commonly known as having no idea. At this time, you first need to make yourself confident, and the fastest way to get results is to seek help from other experienced people. It is a good way to find an acquaintance to contact for consultation.

2. Soldiers and horses are not moved, food and grass go first, prepare in advance

Since I have no experience at the beginning, I can lower my posture a little. Lowering does not mean during the interview, but before the interview, don't procrastinate. If you can, write down the things you want to ask step by step in detail. If you don’t want to be so detailed, it’s best to have an outline so that you can play and adapt on the spot.

3. Pick yourself up

Since it is my first attempt, and it must be one-sided, there is a high probability that the interviewer will have more experience than you. Don't panic at this time, you need to cheer yourself up. After all, you only need to master the basics well, and you don't need to think too much about the rest, and it's unnecessary. Just treat it with peace of mind.

4. Grow in practice

After the first time, you will find that it is not as difficult as you think, but it is definitely not that simple. It is still very important to adapt measures to local conditions and dynamically adjust the content of your questions according to the interviewer's answers.

5. Judgment requires experience

You can develop sharp eyes only by reading countless people, and the same is true for interviews. It is not a one-off thing. What's more, there are still several rounds to come, we just need to make good use of the current round, gain experience, and gradually improve our judgment.

Always be humble, walk the next road well, and go to practice and grow.
