Facebook parent company Meta (Nasdaq: META) recently released its earnings report. The financial report shows that Meta’s revenue in the second quarter of 2023 will be US$32 billion, an increase of 11% from US$28.822 billion in the same period last year.

Meta's revenue from the app "family" in the second quarter of 2023 was US$31.723 billion, compared with US$28.37 billion in the same period last year; revenue from Reality Labs was US$276 million, compared with US$452 million in the same period last year.

Meta's revenue from Reality Labs in the first half of 2023 was $616 million, down 46% from $1.146 billion in the same period last year.

Meta's operating profit in the second quarter of 2023 was US$9.392 billion, an increase of 12% from US$8.358 billion in the same period last year; net profit was US$7.788 billion, an increase of 16% from US$6.687 billion in the same period last year.

In June 2023, the Meta service "family" (including services such as Facebooka, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger) averaged 3.07 billion daily active users (DAP), a year-on-year increase of 7%.

As of June 30, 2023, Meta had cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities of $53.45 billion and free cash flow of $10.96 billion in the second quarter of 2023.
