Siemens Mendix, the global leader in modern enterprise application development, recently announced that Mendix 10, the most powerful version of the industry-leading low-code platform, has been fully launched. Mendix 10 introduces a series of innovations that enable enterprises to meet unprecedented software demands by transforming the delivery of enterprise-grade digital solutions.
Facing the rapidly changing market, enterprises in all walks of life are all faced with the challenge of meeting performance standards. The most powerful low-code IDE packed with multiple productivity enhancements
Mendix 10 was built by developers for developers to provide the most intuitive and powerful low-code integrated development environment (IDE) on the market. Another investment Mendix 10 has made around AI/ML is that it enables developers to deliver "smart applications" using AI services and machine learning models. Many Mendix customers have built complex solutions using popular third-party services, while others are eager to embed their own proprietary machine learning models into Mendix applications. The new machine learning toolkit included in Mendix 10 will help developers to deploy machine learning models built on common machine learning frameworks into Mendix Runtime. From scikit learn to PyTorch to TensorFlow - models trained on various frameworks can be converted to Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX, an open standard for machine learning models) and then integrated directly into Mendix applications to ensure High performance, data security and good economic benefits.

As such, Mendix 10 introduces some key innovations that support the adoption of a composable enterprise strategy.
For example, the Solutions Kit is now generally available, serving both traditional enterprise customers and independent software vendors. The Solutions Kit contains a set of capabilities that will help developers deliver customizable, scalable solutions while ensuring that these solutions are not upgradeable or maintainable. For example, Solutions Kit includes intellectual property protection (ie, granular control over module adaptability) and lifecycle management (ie, retaining a record of changes through advanced version control). Adaptation Insights, which will be generally available later this year, will give developers insight into how modules adapt during iterative implementations.
ISVs find this feature attractive because they can use it to offer a range of SaaS solutions that better meet customer needs. Some large enterprise customers are already using this capability as they begin implementing composable strategies. App Insights includes an improved feedback feature for users to exchange ideas or ask questions with developers, and for developers to communicate with these users and store related notes as transactions.
