“xxx.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

1. Problem description

My computer is M1 芯片, some newly downloaded software will report an error when opened. Before using the M1 chip, the following command was used to solve the problem, but this method failed!

sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/xxx.app	

Two, the solution

Open a terminal and type:

sudo xattr -rc /Applications/*.app     # “修复” 所有未知来源的 app 

or:

sudo spctl --master-disable    # 设置隐私中，允许任何来源软件

Then, hold down Ctrland right click on the software selectOpen
