In this blog, we will describe how to process and visualize GEDI (Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation) lidar data using Python. GEDI is a lidar earth observation mission launched by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to obtain three-dimensional structure information of ecosystems around the world. This article will take the extraction of vegetation waveform data in the study area as an example, and the results are shown in the figure below.
