When using models as tools
share to other computer
The situation where the model is not available
Just like our previous production and sharing
The tool for extracting four solstice points
In the case of this red cross
because he uses submodels
So there is a path inconsistency
Just edit the config
So how to fundamentally solve this problem?
The answer is: geoprocessing packages
1. Introduction to shared geoprocessing
A geoprocessing package is a convenient way to package one or more tools, along with the data used by those tools, into a single compressed file (.gpk) for shared geoprocessing workflows. All resources (models, scripts, data, layers, and files) needed to re-execute the tool are included in the package. This means that other consumers of the package can re-run the tool to produce the exact same results. They can analyze your tools, see how you complete your workflow, and replace the data in the package with their own.
To create a package, right-click the result in the results window and choose Share As > Geoprocessing Package .
A geoprocessing package can contain one or more results. Each result includes:
-
Tool, which can be a system tool or a custom model or script tool that you create.
-
Data, for input and output parameters of the tool.
-
All other data sets required to execute the tool, including project data. Project data is defined as data that is used in a model or script, but not displayed as a parameter.
-
Any other customizations your tool uses. For example, if the model tool being packaged runs other custom tools, those tools will also be included in the package.
-
Environment settings that take effect when the tool is run.
