The open source IoT platform ThingsPanel released version 0.5.1 today after releasing the 0.5.0 multi-tenant function a week ago, and the large-screen visual editor based on Antv was officially released.
In this release, the main updates are as follows:
Configuration support: Now, you can easily configure devices and interfaces, making your system more flexible and more widely used.
Large-screen function: In order to meet the needs of large-scale display and data display, we have added a large-screen function, so that your data can be seen at a glance on the large screen, providing more intuitive support for data analysis and decision-making.
3D: This is the most notable feature in this update. We bring you the support of 3D dynamic diagrams. You can create or import 3D models in ThingsPanel and add dynamic data to them. This not only increases the level of visualization, but also brings you a brand new visual experience.
3D uses plug-in technology and is developed based on three.js technology, which is a popular JavaScript library for creating and displaying 3D graphics in web pages. It supports a variety of 3D model formats. three.js supports several 3D model formats, including .json, .gltf, .glb, .dae, .obj, .fbx, .ply, .stl, and .wrl, but the GLTF (.gltf and .glb) formats, which offer many advantages for modern web applications, are the recommended first choice.
