As a local believer, you need to use a lot of software, such as ArcGIS, ERDAS, ENVI, AutoCAD and so on, you may encounter some problems of one kind or another during the installation process, because people often install these software, so I have some experience in the problems that may be encountered after installing ERDAS9.2.
In view of the fact that the normal installation process of the software is generally silent installation, I will not go into details here, and now briefly summarize these problems ( attachment: remote sensing data download address sorting, some URLs may be invalid, please check for updates yourself ):

1. Configuration problems of license management:
(1.1) In license.dat, replace "this host" in "SERVER this host ANY" with your own "computer name". When someone installs, you only replace the license.dat file, but forget to modify the computer name inside, resulting in repeated pop-ups when opening the software and ERDAS cannot be opened (ps: XP, be careful not to forget the dot after the computer name, copy it together);
（1.2）在 LMTOOLS的config service菜单下，第一个Browse打开的是lmgrd.exe而不是ERDAS.exe，疏忽这个细节会出现和（1.1）一样的问题（ps：第三个log日志是自定义的，点开Browse后随便输入erdas.log之类的字样即可）；
（1.3） config service下的两个勾默认都是勾上的，如果电脑里装了ArcGIS、ERDAS、ENVI这三软件中两个以上，极易造成软件的许可管理冲突，因为这三软件的许可管理是通用的，所以此时Use Services前的勾必须去掉，用哪个软件就在每次使用前打开LMTOOLS，选中其中的一个服务再start该服务即可使用对应的软件；
（1.4）config service下设置完后点击 Save Service弹窗报错说不能保存 ，一般有两个可能情况：
问题一是没有权限：右击安装目录下的lmtools.exe以管理员身份运行即可；
问题二是该服务已在进程中开启：右击任务栏-〉任务管理器-〉进程-〉右击lmgrd.exe和erdas.exe结束该任务，如果这样设置后还不行，那么请将进程里taskhost.exe这个进程也结束掉即可继续软件的安装；
（1.5） 在Start/Stop/Reread菜单栏下点Start按钮后，下面显示 启动失败 的英文字样，解决办法同（1.4）中的问题二；
2、打开软件弹窗问题，第一次打开都会出现的那个有四列选项的弹窗：
（2.1）一般是选中第一个，在其后面的文本框中输入“localhost”或“本机计算机名”后单击continue即可打开，如果有些人急用，使用该方法打不开软件，可以选第三个选项，试用的可用15天；
（2.2）打开软件时，参照（2.1）还总是弹窗，那可能是服务被ArcGIS或ENVI占用，任务管理结束掉相应进程后start要用的erdas软件服务即可使用erdas软件（也可能是 1 （1.1）ps红字部分的情况）；
（2.3）打开软件erdas各模块图标显示不出来，viewer缺失打不开，确认安装路径是否有中文或特殊字符，如有请卸载erdas后重装（路径不能有中文或特殊字符），重装后依然如此，那就是安装包本身的问题了，文件不完全所致，重新下载安装包即可（ps：之前给人安装时出现 Unexcepted error(SEH) during plug-in DLL configuration.字样，可能是在mac上装的win7里装erdas9.2的缘故，本人暂时没找到解决办法，建议重装系统或用虚拟机[本人用的是VMware10.0（可以尝试右击imagine.exe - 属性 - 兼容性 - 更改高DPI设置 - 高DPI缩放替代 - 打勾并下拉选择系统）；
3. Problems and suggestions during the installation process:
(1) If the installation path is customized, it is best not to appear Chinese in the path;
(2) When the installation is about to end, the pop-up window reports "Error 1935", which is caused by the lack of software operating environment. The most common is the lack of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable, just go to the Microsoft Download Center to download and install. The following is a collection of commonly used Microsoft runtime libraries used by the author, including Visual C++ 05/08/ 10/12, the link [Baidu Netdisk - link does not exist ] ;
(3) If you don’t use erdas for a long time, you can’t open erdas after using arcgis or envi in the middle. It is recommended to refer to the picture in 1 to reset the path and start the erdas service to open the software.
