Originally, I wanted to get a mini industrial computer to brush OpenWrt to play.
Due to the shyness in the pocket, I turned out the Xiaomi AC2100 that had not been successfully flashed before.
I have been stuck in the Breed web recovery console, no matter how I restart it, I can’t see the familiar OpenWrt
I accidentally found a flashing message saying that the flashing was successful, and I chose OpenWrt
I just started to suspect that my version of Breed web recovery console is outdated.
Downloaded a breed-mt7621-xiaomi-r3g.bin from Breed web

Upgrading in four steps,
Upgraded the version from the original version 1.1 to 1.2
Download Xiaomi Mi Router AC2100 rom from OpenWrt official website

This is flash firmware
openwrt-22.03.0-ramips-mt7621-xiaomi_mi-router-ac2100-squashfs-rootfs0.bin
upgrade firmware
openwrt-22.03.4-ramips-mt7621-xiaomi_mi-router-ac2100-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
Start flashing, remember to choose this openwrt-22.03.0-ramips-mt7621-xiaomi_mi-router-ac2100-squashfs-rootfs0.bin firmware
After brushing and restarting, the address is still 192.168.1.1. Some tutorials say it is 0.1, but mine has not changed, which is a bit strange.
The user name is root and the password is empty
At first, it is in English, click system, then click backup and upgrade, then click the bottom, flash the new firmware, select openwrt-22.03.4-ramips-mt7621-xiaomi_mi-router-ac2100-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin, the default is fine.
Change the port to DHCP, so that it can be connected to the Internet first.
Use a network cable to connect your AC2100 to your existing network.
Change English to Chinese, just click the picture below. luci-i18n-base-zh-cn click OK, then install it.
The summary is 1. The console version needs to be new. at least 1.2
2. The firmware version should be selected correctly.
There is still a difference between millet and red rice.
