When interacting with Zilliz Cloud, you will need to provide credentials to verify your identity. Credentials consist of a username and a corresponding password. Zilliz Cloud authenticates and authorizes your request based on your credentials.

When connecting to a Zilliz Cloud cluster, you must provide a username and corresponding password with access rights. If your credentials show that you do not have permission to connect to the cluster, Zilliz Cloud will deny your access request.

 

When creating a cluster, Zilliz Cloud will automatically create a default user named db_admin , you need to enter an initial password for this default user. User db_admin is granted admin authority, which means that the user has the right to access all resources and perform all operations at the cluster level.
