Introduction to PADS Router automatic routing function

Click the Routing icon in the General toolbar 44abfc1c998a470513a9c55360ba49e1.jpegto bring up the Routing toolbar1186bc06b00f4cf8050db9d473a59026.jpeg

From left to right, they are Routing, Fanout, Optimization, Alignment, and Centering.

Routing: The routing command will perform interactive automatic routing design on the selected objects

Fan-out: Automatically perform fan-out routing for the selected SMT components, single pins or networks, and analyze the routing according to the set rules

Optimization: optimize and adjust the selected implementation, such as optimizing the current wiring status and eliminating unnecessary

The necessary Stub (branch) line segment, optimize the usage of Via and shorten the wiring length

Adjustment: The length of the wiring can be automatically improved to the required set length, that is, the automatic winding is equal in length

Centering: Automatically correct the relative distance between the line segments between the pads according to the set design rules

1. Routing: Select the network to be automatically routed, as shown in Figure 1. Right-click the [Wiring] option, and the completed result is shown in Figure 2.
