2.2 TOEFL

TOEFL reading words: between 2100-3500.

Including the time for reading the articles and answering the questions, the reading part of each test has a total of 60 minutes (if 3 articles are tested) or 100 minutes ( If you test 5 articles). During the exam, the first article counts down independently, and the length is 20 minutes; the second and fourth articles and possibly the fourth and fifth articles are counted down every two articles, and the length is 40 minutes each. Therefore, the entire reading test of the new TOEFL can be regarded as consisting of two (when testing 3 articles) to three (when testing 5 articles) parts that are timed separately, and each part is independent of each other and carried out successively. Therefore, the Examination Research Center reminds candidates to pay attention that the 60 or 100 minutes of examination time cannot be freely allocated to different articles and topics. There are a total of 39 questions in TOEFL reading, not 43, 45, only 42, which is the original score, which corresponds to the final score of 0-30, and some questions have 2 points for the original score.
