1. Add a first-level classification step

Step 1: Go to [Commodity] - [Product Category] - [Category Management] list, and click the [Add Category] button

Step 2: In the new category pop-up window, fill in the category-related information. And click the [Save] button.

2. Add subcategory steps

Step 1: Enter the [Category Management] list, and click the [ Add Subcategory ] button in the [Operation Bar]

Step 2: After filling in the corresponding information in the new subcategory pop-up window, click the [Save] button.

3. Steps to edit product categories

Step 1: Enter the [Category Management] list, and click the [Edit] button in the [Operation Column]

Step 2: After filling in the corresponding information in the edit product category pop-up window, click the [Save] button.

4. Delete product classification steps

Step 1: Enter the [Category Management] list, and click the [Delete] button in the [Operation Column]

Step 2: The category that can be deleted will directly prompt that the deletion is successful

Five, management classification matters needing attention

5.1. Precautions for filling in classified information:

1. Category name up to 20 Chinese characters;
2. Classification and sorting 0～999, the bigger the number, the higher the sorting;
3. Category names cannot be repeated.

5.2. Matters needing attention in the industry:

1. The industry to which the store belongs refers to the "store industry" to which the store belongs;
2. When adding a category, the store industry to which it belongs is called, and each lower-level store will display the product category according to the industry to which it belongs;
3. Leave blank to call the public industry by default , and the public industry is applicable to all directly-operated and franchised stores (categorized and displayed to all stores);
4. The industry that has been successfully published cannot be edited again.

5.3. Precautions displayed in the online shop:

1. In the online store status, open means that the category can be displayed in the direct-operated mini-program online store; hidden means that the category cannot be displayed in the direct-operated mini-program online store;
2. It is up to the franchisee to set whether to display the online store of the franchise mini program

5.4. Matters needing attention in managing product categories on the merchant side

1. The system presets a " preset classification " by default, which cannot be deleted or edited, and can only be called
2. The product classification released by the merchant (headquarters) will be synchronized to the corresponding directly-operated store and franchised store according to the store industry to which it belongs;
3. Please be careful when editing or deleting categories, so as not to affect the normal use of the store;
4. The system currently supports up to 3 levels of commodity classification.

5.5. Precautions for product classification management at the store side

1. Directly-operated stores do not have any authority to manage product categories, and can only view/call;
2. Franchise stores can only enable/hide the permission to display product categories in the online store;
3. If a sub-store needs to add a category, please contact the merchant administrator.

5.6. Precautions for deleting product categories

1. Categories with subordinate subcategories cannot be deleted;
2. A category already occupied by any product cannot be deleted;
3. Commodity categories can only be deleted by the merchant terminal, and the category that can be deleted will prompt "deleted successfully".
