The human eye is often "deceived" by optical illusions (or optical illusions) , so that the perceived image differs from the physical reality. But in the past, little research has been done on various optical illusions in technological applications such as image processing and optical displays. As a unique attempt to combine information technology with optical illusions, literature [1] proposed a new image steganography scheme based on the color assimilation illusion. A composite image containing a grayscale background and a grid of saturated colored lines (or dots) can be perceived as a colored image while hiding external secret data.
The innovation of this paper is that it uses color images and grayscale images to construct color images of optical illusions, see Figure 1:

Information is embedded during image construction,

Information extraction is the reverse process of data embedding. In this paper, for the first time, human visual illusions are used to construct color images to realize data steganography.
This paper is very interesting, and the simulation experiment of this paper has been completed.
