NR CSI(五)Priority rules for CSI reports

When sending NR CSI reports, there may be situations where some CSI reports need to be discarded. At this time, it is necessary to refer to the priority of the CSI report. The specific calculation of the priority of the CSI report is specified in 38.214 5.2.5, simply look at it.

The priority of the CSI report is calculated according to the blue formula above, and the values of the parameters involved are determined according to the configuration, as shown in the figure below.

If the Pri_icsi calculated by the first CSI report is lower than that of the second CSI report, it is said that the priority of the first CSI report is higher than that of the second CSI report.

When two CSI reports are transmitted on the same carrier and at least one OFDM symbol overlaps, it is said that the two CSI reports collide.

When the UE wants to send two conflicting CSI reports, if one of the y values is 2 and the other is 3, the two CSI reports are multiplexed or discarded according to the priority value, such as the first in [6, TS 38.213] 9.2.5.2; in other cases, as long as the value of y is different (corresponding to the situation where CSI is sent on PUSCH and CSI is sent on PUCCH respectively), the CSI report with a large Pri_iCSI value will not be sent, and the CSI report with a small Pri_iCSI value will be sent instead. That is, the CSI report with high priority is sent first.

If the semi-persistent CSI report sent on the PUSCH overlaps in the time domain with one or more symbols transmitting PUSCH data on the same carrier, where d2,1 is related to the PUSCH carrying the semi-persistent CSI report and the PUSCH transmitting data If the earliest symbol of the start transmission of these PUSCH channels is +N2+d2,1 symbols later than the last symbol of the DCI scheduling the PUSCH, the UE shall not transmit the CSI report. During actual scheduling, the preparation time for PUSCH transmission after the DCI schedules the PUSCH should also be considered.

If the first PUSCH containing SP CSI report and the second PUSCH containing UL-SCH data are to be transmitted on the same carrier, if the first PUSCH and the second PUSCH overlap in the time domain, the UE will not transmit the first PUSCH PUSCH, only the second PUSCH is transmitted. When at least one of the first or second PUSCH transmissions is to be transmitted according to the requirements of the DCI format, attention should be paid to the above timing condition of PUSCH transmissions with overlapping time domains in actual scheduling.
