1. Introduction of 8155 chip
Qualcomm 8155 is the abbreviation of Qualcomm SA8155P chip. Released in 2019, it is the world's first mass-produced 7nm process car chip. The AI computing power of the entire chip can reach 8TOPS, and it also has Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6 and other connectivity capabilities. The overall performance level is similar to that of Qualcomm's flagship mobile processor Snapdragon 855+ in 2019, or it can be said to be the car version of Snapdragon 855.
Specifically, the Qualcomm 8155 chip is the flagship platform of Qualcomm's third-generation Snapdragon automotive digital cockpit. It is a chip with a heterogeneous architecture, including CPU, GPU, DSP, ISP, and AI engine.

3. Performance comparison
In terms of manufacturing process, the Qualcomm 8155 chip is built using TSMC’s first-generation 7nm process (N7), which belongs to the same generation of products as the Snapdragon 855 and 855+.
In the CPU part, the 8155 chip adopts a 1+3+4 8-core design, and the core is Qualcomm Kryo 485. Among them, the main frequency of the large core is 2.96GHz, the main frequency of the three high-performance cores is 2.42GHz, and the main frequency of the four low-power small cores is 1.8GHz.
